Delightful

Grounded in the quintets of Reicha and Danzi, this one by Taffanel is a delightful extension in style, although a modern composition. Solo lines and duet sections abound - everyone gets a turn. The second movement starts with in a horn solo in the lower end of the mid-range for the horn and, as a horn player, is a joy to play. We are Q-5 in Wilmington, DE and we love it!
