Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921) wrote his Oratorio de Noël in a matter of weeks, completing the work ten days before it premiered on Christmas in 1858 in Paris. Written and structured in a style that resembles the oratorios of the early Baroque period, Saint-Saëns' study of choral music from composers such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, and others, had a great influence on the work.


카미유 생상스(1835-1921)는 1858년 크리스마스 파리 초연 열흘 전에 완성한 오라토리오 <노엘>을 몇 주 만에 완성했습니다. 초기 바로크 시대의 오라토리오와 유사한 양식으로 작곡되고 구성된 이 작품은 바흐, 헨델, 모차르트 등의 작곡가들의 합창 음악에 대한 생상스의 연구로 큰 영향을 받았습니다.
