range from the St.Matthew Passion to the cantatas and the Mass in B minor, also supplying the words of the

vocal parts in two languages. Drawing on the Urtext of the New Bach Edition, it also offers an introduction, detailed editorial comments, and bowing and fingering marks for modern day as well as historical performance.
