German Requiem

The choral group of which I am a member is planning to do this work (in German) in December of 2012. I wanted a head start so that I could learn the German pronunciation during the summer. This edition is very clear and helpful.

Memories of Brahms Requiem

I am very happy with this edition of the Brahms. It is exactly what I wanted as a desk copy. Easy to read. I want to do this work sometime as I am a choir director. I sang tenor in the Requiem at Oberlin in 1957 in German. It was thrilling.

Brahms Requiem

The most beautiful requiem I have ever heard or sung. This score is all German, but the included English translation at the back was most poetic, beautiful and helpful for one who doesn't know German.
