추억을 환기시키는 아름다운 민요조 선율로 장식된 이 음반에는 민속 선율에 기초한 오리지널 기타곡과 바르토크, 그리그 등의 편곡작품이 수록되어 있다. 친근감을 주는 선율이면서도 묵상적이고 정열적인 음악들이다. 직접 개발한 8현 기타를 연주하는 갈브레이스는 기타만이 갖는 독특한 음색을 명징하고 중후하며 순수한 음향으로 선사하고 있다. 오랜 삶의 정서가 농축되어 있는 민요 선율은 항상 듣는이의 마음에 잔잔한 파문을 안겨준다.
