Mozart`s KV191, originally for bassoon and orchestra, has become a standard for doublebass repertoire. In Dubugnon`s new edition, he includes a secondary piano accompaniment, to accommodate tunings in C or in D, and offers his own cadenzas for the first two movements, encouraging students to play them as they are, or to use them as a starting point in creating their own.
