영국을 대표하는 클라리네티스트, 제르바즈 드 페이어의 클라리넷 리사이틀 앨범.
페이어는 1956년부터 73년까지 런던 심포니 오케스트라의 수석 클라리네티스트로 재직하였고, 멜로스 앙상블등 실내악단을 주도한 명장이다. 그의 1960년 녹음으로, 희귀한 클라리넷 레퍼토리를 연주하고 있다. 베버 <그랜드 듀오콘체르탄테>를 비롯하여 슈미트, 드뷔시, 호로비츠, 벤자민, 마르티누의 클라리넷 소품들로, 페이어의 투명하게 빛나는 음색과, 노래하는 듯한 매력적인 연주가 담겨있다.
