You are holding in your hands the latest work by Roland Dyens, one that he worked on with passion for three years and completed at the end of September, just before his passing on October 29, 2016. During the summer of 2016, he tirelessly worked on his arrangements, which he performed at the numerous festivals where he was invited, in France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, and finally on September 3, 2016, in Colombia. It was at the Guitar Salon International (California) where he premiered "Libertango" on June 27, 2015, and at the Festival Pause Guitare in Albi (France) where he gave the world premiere performance of "Invierno Porteño" on July 7, 2016. Dear guitarists, put as much passion into playing this music as Roland did in writing and performing it. But beware, "it's something!" as he used to say...
