This collection of songs is the result of the Erasmus+ project Voices of Women: a consortium of various European colleges and universities that have explored the songs of women composers in theory, practice and interpretation. The selection of these art songs gives all singers access to the poems set to music, as they are suitable for both educational and professional artistic purposes. The compositions cover a period of about 100 years, from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century, and each is captivating in its own way due to the close connection between music and poetry.

이 곡 모음집은 에라스무스+ 프로젝트인 '여성의 목소리(Voices of Women)'의 결과물입니다. 이 프로젝트는 유럽 여러 대학들이 참여하여 여성 작곡가들의 가곡을 이론, 실제, 해석 측면에서 탐구한 결과물입니다. 엄선된 이 가곡들은 교육적 목적뿐 아니라 전문적인 예술 활동에도 적합하여 모든 가수들이 시에 곡을 붙인 작품을 접할 수 있도록 합니다. 수록곡들은 19세기 중반부터 20세기 중반까지 약 100년에 걸친 시기를 아우르며, 음악과 시의 긴밀한 조화로 각기 다른 매력을 지니고 있습니다.
