Bach Arias for Two Flutes, Vol.1 Or Violin and Flute
Twelve arias from the Bach cantatas selected and edited as flute duets. These Bass arias as written by Bach consist only of the vocal line (1st Flute) and basso continuo (2nd Flute). The bass figures have been omitted, but each aria-duet is presented in its entirety. Excellent material for teacher-pupil duets
Bach Arias for Two Flutes, Volume 1
Much enjoyable volume, bringing to light many Bach arias that are not commonly heard, with challenging transcriptions that fit well on the flute. Not so well on the baroque flute, but are mostly playable. Very well edited by Mr Renzi. A great gift to flute players.
Bach,Johann Sebastian (1685-1750)
