Dieses "Concerto pour Violoncelle" wurde im Jahre 1783 komponiert und erschien 1804/5 als opus 101 "apres le manuscrit original" bei Joh. Andre in Offenbach. Das Concerto wurde eine Zeit lang falschlich Anton Kraft zugeschrieben. Das noch vorhandene Autograph, das "die me Giuseppe Haydn" uberschrieben ist, beweist eindeutig die Autorschaft Haydns.
